Many clients wonder what to expect after laser hair removal – and the truth is, results aren’t immediate. It’s a gradual process, where your body begins eliminating treated hairs over the next 1.5–2 weeks. To get the best results, it’s important to understand what happens after the session and how the skin reacts during this time.

During the treatment, laser energy targets the melanin in the hair shaft. The energy travels down to the root, heating and destroying the hair follicle. However, the hair itself doesn’t fall out right away.

Over the next 1.5–2 weeks, the treated hairs are gradually pushed to the surface of the skin. This is a natural cleansing process, where the body removes damaged hair that no longer grows.

This is why, right after the session, the hair may still be visible – or even appear to grow. But don’t worry – it’s all part of the hair removal process. After a couple of weeks, the treated area will look noticeably cleaner and smoother, with fewer active follicles.

To achieve long-lasting results and permanently reduce hair growth, a full course of 8–10 sessions is usually required. Sessions are spaced with gradually increasing intervals to ensure the best outcome.
